Sign Source was established in 1987 as an alternative to long waits for  simple signs.  At that time, signs were actually painted by hand...not a particularly efficient way to produce a consistent product, particularly in any quanity.  What you ordered and later picked up from the local "sign guy" was not always what you expected.  Invariably, your explanation seemed to be different from his interpretation.  Computer technology changed that and allowed us to provide complex, high quality signage in a fraction of the time that customers were used to.  We could provide on-screen, scaled layouts and color proofs for immediate change or approval.  Since then, the business has changed dramatically and we have made it an absolute priority to remain on the cutting edge of today's computer, digital and electronic technology.  Our business has evolved from one that was computer aided to one that is now...computer driven...

Sign Source is a local business founded in 1987.  We serve businesses, municipalities, schools and various professional organizations.  We are local residents, who employ local employees and support local businesses and organizations.  We are a member of the Central CT Chamber of Commerce. 

We are proud NOT to be a franchise !  We feel that gives us the flexibility to work in the best interest of our customers.  We do not have the overhead of corporate kickbacks or co-op advertising.  We feel our money is better spent on improving our capabilities and customer service.  We also believe that our best advertising is the positive referral from one of our many, satisfied customers...

Digital graphics and wide format color printing:

Banners, posters, event signage, decals, advertising (lawn) signs, trade show graphics, wall murals and more.  Digital color output can be printed on either rigid or flexible media.  Protective overlamination can be provided as an additional option.

"Signs of all Kinds":

Just about anything that needs lettered.  Interior and exterior signs for businesses, directories, menu boards, window and building lettering, vehicle lettering (auto's, trucks, boats), traffic signage.  Company and corporate identification, signs for events, trade shows, company or business functions.  Event signs, posters and banners.

Engraving Services:

Engraved signs, ADA compliant signs, nameplates, labels and badges, recognition awards and plaques, machine tags and stencils.  Materials include various plastics and metals.
